Egyptian Steel Sponsors the Deaf and Mute National Football Team For the Fifth Consecutive Year

For the fifth consecutive year, Egyptian Steel Group sponsored the national football team of the deaf and mute which will participate in the World Olympic Games for the Deaf & Mute 2017 that will kick off on Tuesday, July 18th with the participation of more than 16 Asian, European and Arab teams. Captain Tawfiq Saqr, the team's director, confirmed that Egyptian Steel Group and businessman Mr. Ahmad Abou Hashima have been sponsoring the Deaf and Mute team since 2012 after the team won second place in the World Cup. Egyptian Steel honored the players and encouraged them to reach more achievements. Last year the team was sponsored to participate in the World Cup which was held in Naples, Italy. Captain Tariq al-Najjar said that Egypt will be in the first group and will play a match with Venezuela on the first day. The second match Egypt will play will be against Turkey and the third match versus Saudi Arabia. 16 Arab, European and Asian countries, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Venezuela, Iran, Germany, Japan, Ireland, Turkey, France, Argentina, Russia and Australia will attend the tournament.
