The BT 100 event was organized by Business Today magazine to announce the top 50 companies and the 50 most influential figures in the Egyptian economy for the year 2017. Under the patronage of President Abd El Fatah Al Sisi, the UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) recognized Mr. Ahmed Abou Hashima, CEO of Egyptian Steel Group, for his efforts in sustainable development as well as the green strategy under which Egyptian Steel operates. The event was held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in cooperation with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transportation.
