Ahmed Abou Hashima began his career as an intern at a bank while studying at the university. Later, he ventured into the steel trade industry after completing his undergraduate degree. Abou Hashima’s strong desire to establish his own business entity, coupled with his independent nature, is perhaps his most notable trait. He developed a pragmatic and far-sighted vision, which turned him into a risk-taker and led him to significant financial growth. After gaining experience in the steel industry for several years, Abou Hashima achieved a remarkable range of accomplishments.

As an entrepreneur, Ahmed Abou Hashima built a business empire that includes leading enterprises such as Egyptian Steel, Egyptian Cement, Egyptian Media, and Egyptian Industrial Investment Group.
His public role has also been significant, as he serves as the Vice President of the Republican People’s Party, a member of the Egyptian Senate, and Chairman of the Financial, Economic and Investment Affairs Committee of the Egyptian Senate.
