In 2020, he answered the call to political duty by becoming the Vice President of the Republican People’s Party, where he became a powerful voice for citizens’ interests and concerns. Abou Hashima’s political career continued to flourish when he was elected as a Senator in the Egyptian Senate, marking his official political debut on October 18, 2020. His dedication to public service was evident in his appointment as the first deputy of the Trade and Industry Committee in February 2021, a position that allowed him to make a significant contribution to the Egyptian economy. Eight months later, he was appointed as the Head of the Youth and Sports Committee, a role he still holds with distinction.

Abou Hashima’s commitment to the Egyptian youth is evident through his influential position in the Senate.
