The Cabinet has granted MAFI for Agricultural Produce Industries the prestigious “Golden License” for its innovative agri-food complex project. The initiative is set to revolutionize Egypt’s food processing industry, focusing on the manufacturing, concentrating, drying, packaging, and freezing of agricultural produce and food products. Spanning an area of 154,655.39 square meters, the project will be located at Plot No. 3 in the Developers Zone within the industrial area of Sadat City, Menoufia Governorate. With an investment of $180.1 million, the facility is projected to commence operations by March 2026.
The project is expected to create 720 job opportunities while contributing to reducing imports, transferring and localizing advanced food processing technologies, and enhancing Egypt’s position in the global agri-food market. MAFI plans to export 100% of its production to international markets, further solidifying its role as a leader in sustainable and innovative agricultural practices. This milestone underscores MAFI’s commitment to driving economic growth, advancing the agricultural sector, and supporting Egypt’s vision for a modernized and export-driven economy.
